Each morning, our 5th graders, along with some help from FAAM teachers, make the morning announcements. These announcements are actually really helpful for parents to listen to as well. They post the video every day on their Facebook page. Give the page a follow, and watch each day to stay updated on what's happening at FAAM!

The Remind app doesn't like it when groups get too big, so we need to redo how the PTA is sending Remind messages this year. I've archived all current Remind groups, so hopefully if you've been getting multiple messages, you won't anymore.

Even if you've already texted, please send a text again, as I have created all new groups to help us improve communication through Remind this year.
These are the codes to receive reminders from the PTA only; you'll join your child's class separately. If you have more than one child at FAAM, just choose one group to join.

๐ Yearbooks
Information about how to purchase a yearbook will go out soon. We are doing preorders in the fall again this year. In the meantime, you can send pictures to yearbook@faampta.org. Consider sending first day of school pictures, pictures in the new Champions shirt, and/or pictures from their extracurricular activities.

- Wednesday, September 3rd: Fall pictures
- Friday, September 12th: Grandparents' Day (remember--grandparents only! No parents will be allowed)
- Sunday, September 28th: Ms. Marilyn's birthday--Ms. Marilyn is the crossing guard who has helped out at FAAM for years. Every year we try to show our appreciation for her by recognizing her on her birthday. If you'd like, surprise her with something on Friday or Monday to show her she's appreciated.

- โJoin the PTA We have prided ourselves on having 100% membership every year. Help us reach that goal this year! It's only $5 to join.
- โVolunteer This year our goal is to get 100% participation from each child's family. It does not have to be a parent, but your child will get credit if someone from his or her family volunteers, and we will have prizes for classes that receive 100% participation.
