Our Kindergarten Open House will be on January 22nd. Please spread the word to any preschool families you know!
π° Fundraising Updates
- Popcorn and popsicles orders will stay open until January 9th. Remember it was not an option to purchase for the full year, so if you would like your child to get popcorn and popsicles in the spring semester, you have to purchase it again.

π€ PTA Needs Your Help!
We are in need of help in several areas for this year and next. Please read these descriptions, and if you think your talents can be of use to the PTA, please reach out to us at connect@faampta.org. As a reminder, PTA officers do not have to be mothers. We have had several dads participate in the past, and we would love to have dads join in any of the following roles.
- Vice President: This person would assist the president for the next two years and would be interested in taking over as president for the two years after that. For this reason, we would need this person to be at the school for the next four years. We have so many great helpers and volunteers that this truly is an organizational role; it doesnβt have to be a huge amount of labor for one person.
- Vice President of Fundraising: This is a two-year term overseeing our fundraisers: popcorn and popsicles, readathon, cookie dough, VIP, Drive-In, and the Fling. They are also welcome to change/update any fundraisers pending board approval. The person would be a helper for the first year, and then in charge and training another helper the second year.
- Help in the copy room: Let us know if you can sign up for some shifts in the copy roomβweβll train you to work the copy machines.
- Spirit Night Coordinator: Spirit Night Coordinator connects with restaurants/businesses in the area to host Spirit Nights where we get a portion of their proceeds for a specific day/night.

Preorders are now open! Go to www.yearbookordercenter.com and enter the school code 785. When you put in your student's name, click "Add Student"--none of the student names are preloaded. They are now $30.

βπ₯ The Wildcat Den
Each morning, our 5th graders, along with some help from FAAM teachers, make the morning announcements. These announcements are actually really helpful for parents to listen to as well. You can follow along on their YouTube or on their Facebook page. Give the page a follow, and watch each day to stay updated on what's happening at FAAM!

- βVolunteer This year our goal is to get 100% participation from each child's family. It does not have to be a parent, but your child will get credit if someone from his or her family volunteers, and we will have prizes for classes that receive 100% participation.
